Day 1
Arrival, Meeting and assistance. drive north and check in at the hotel. Overnight: Kibbutz on the Sea of Galilee
Day 2
After breakfast, a pleasant journey takes us to the Golan Heights, after seeing the UN Buffer Zone between Israel and Syria. We will continue to explore the newly restored wetlands in the Hula Valley with its marvelous bird sanctuary, we continue our drive to Tel Dan and go by the Banias the main source of the Jordan River as well as a look across the borders into both Lebanon and Syria. Day 3
On this day we will visit Christian sites around the Galilee including Capernaum, Mt of Beatitudes where Jesus ministered so wonderfully, the Yardenit (Baptismal site), We cross the river at Kibbutz Deganya and proceed to the impressive Yarmuk River Gorge for views of special interest. From there to a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee affording wonderful views of surrounding countryside and remembrance of the ministry of Jesus. Overnight: Kibbutz on the Sea of Galilee
Day 4
Drive through Cana, visit Nazareth to the Church of St. Gabriel. among the houses of Old Nazareth to the Church of the Annunciation. The nearby Church of St. Joseph and more holy sites. Drive to Megiddo for views of the Plain of Armageddon. After exploring magnificent archaeological excavations at Megiddo and restoration of Biblical significance, we go through the famous water tunnel through the mount to our bus which awaits us at the other side. We then visit the Muhraka, site of Elijah's prayer and fire from heaven on the top of Mount Carmel. We will stop at Daliat-El-Carmel, the Druz village on top of the Carmel mountain to hear about the special Druz community in Israel (if the time will allow - free time at the Druz bazaar) Proceed to Caesaria - the remnants of the city and ancient port built by Herod the Great and from there to Jerusalem.At dinner time, meet with a Ministry of Tourism representative to welcome the group to the Holy City. Day 5
We will start at Mount Scopus for a magnificent view of Jerusalem, proceed to Mount of Olives, Descend to Kedron Valley and Garden of Gethsemane and then to Mount Zion. Visit the Room of the Last Supper and nearby King David's Tomb. Enter the Old City by Zion Gate for our walking tour to the Jewish Quarter through the Roman Cardo wonderfully restored to its appearance at the time of Christ. Proceed to the Western Wall (Judaism's most holy accessible place) where Jews are in constant prayer and then to enjoy Jerusalem's colorful bazaars. Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 6
Early start to the Dead Sea region, we will start at the famous Ahava factory, we will proceed to Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth, to visit Masada - the last stronghold of Jewish zealots against Romans during the Judean Revolt. A fun treat of the day will be floating on the Dead Sea and time to enjoy the hotel's Spa. Overnight: Dead Sea
Day 7
Today we will visit the new city of Jerusalem, we will start at the Holocaust memorial (Yad Va'Shem), where we will have a special ceremony to adopt one of the children from the Holocaust. From there to the Knesset (Israel's Parliament House) and its giant Menorah, and the Holyland Second Temple model - Scale Model of Jerusalem in stone. Later in the day we will make a visit to the Garden Tomb and then return to the hotel. Overnight: Jerusalem
